Share your loved one’s life history — family names, hometown, career, hobbies, routines, preferences, and calming strategies. This is what makes Luka feel familiar rather than generic. You can do this two ways. Either works equally well — pick whichever is easier for you.

🎤 Set Up By Voice
After Luka arrives, just talk to it. Say “Create a new profile for [name]” then “remember…” once and keep talking. Luka asks “Anything else to remember?” after each fact.
🐻 Choose Your Finish
Choose a wipe-clean hard shell or a soft washable cover. Both are the same 10-inch Luka, with every feature, up to 25 profiles and the Caregiver Companion App — only the finish is different.

📋 Confirm Delivery & Sign the Agreement
We’ll contact you within 24 hours to schedule delivery and setup — in person in MD, VA, DC and PA, or over a video call everywhere else. You’ll receive the rental agreement to review and sign electronically first. At setup, we connect Wi-Fi, set up your profiles, set up the Caregiver Companion App on your phone (4 taps), and walk you through the key features — typically 15–30 minutes.

Setup & Personalization
At delivery, we connect Wi-Fi, load your biography (or help you set it up by voice on the spot), confirm profiles, and verify everything is working. We also set up the Caregiver Companion App on your phone — open your private secure link, tap “Add to Home Screen,” send a test message, done. Your biography and preferences shape how Luka speaks — making interactions feel familiar rather than generic from day one.
Caregiver App from Day One New
From the moment we leave, you can check on your loved one from anywhere — see the room live with the camera, speak through Luka in your own cloned voice, send a Photo Visit, play their favorite music, and manage reminders. Through a private link protected by an access key — no app store needed. Included free on every plan.
Voice-Driven Setup & Updates New
After delivery, you can update Luka entirely by voice — no website required. Add new biographical details (“Remember she takes Lipitor at 8 AM”), create profiles for new family members, scan printed photos into the album, and adjust settings — all by talking to Luka. Caregivers love this for facility deployments.
Night Support Begins Immediately
Cognitive Guardian™ evening and night calming is configured at setup — and you can adjust every word, voice, and schedule later from the Caregiver Companion App. At night, Luka calms in 4 steps: your written words → + calming music → + a cloned family voice → only then, a call to you. And when your loved one says “I need help” while Luka is in Active mode, Luka phones you. Luka never calls 911 and is not an emergency response system — in an emergency, call 911.
Month to month, always
No lock-in and no notice period beyond 30 days. To continue, simply keep Luka. To return it, we arrange pickup — no surprise billing, no questions.
