Why this podcast exists.
Dementia caregiving is mostly invisible work. It happens at 2 AM. It happens in living rooms, hospital corridors, memory care wings, and at kitchen tables — far from the medical literature that’s supposed to explain it.
The Caregiver Journal exists to fill that gap. Each episode focuses on one challenge families and caregivers actually face — evening confusion and restlessness, false accusations, repetitive questions, the guilt of asking for help, the loneliness of being the “strong one.”
The podcast is produced by Eldercare Robotics LLC, the team behind Luka Bear — an assistive AI companion used in dementia care, developmental disabilities, brain injury and aging at home, designed in Rockville, Maryland by a founder who built the first device for his own father.

Real challenges. Real conversations.

Repetitive Questions & False Accusations
What to say when your loved one asks the same question every five minutes, or accuses you of stealing the keys you handed them.
